Finance Fox Weekend Recap: 10 Reads You Might Have Missed

wine barrels, wine tour, wine country, wineWelcome to the first installment of Finance Fox Weekend Recap. I’m certain that you’re wondering why the name change from “Sunday Link Charity” to Finance Fox Weekend Recap and I have just the answer for you – I wanted to upgrade the image of our weekly recap. SLC was successful in its own way as it rounded up some very good reads over the past 28 straight weeks. However, the name of our weekly roundup never dawned on me. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that it was becoming an eye sore for me…so I did the next best thing and changed the name of our weekly roundup to: Finance Fox Weekend Recap.

Our weekly recap will still be featured every weekend, however rather than limiting our selves to ever Sunday, now the window is wide open as the roundup can be posted anywhere from Friday-Sunday. Therefore giving us more flexibility, and the ability to continue to round-up some great weekly reads.

Secondly, our weekend recaps will feature a mix of the fresh and semi-fresh posts from the world of personal finance. Many great posts get published every week, however equally there are great posts that have been written in the past that might have been missed which deserve a call up into the spotlight again.

Finally, calling our weekly roundup “Sunday Link Charity” was absolutely pathetic.I was never set on it, and I often wondered what was I smoking and/or drinking on the day that I decided to call our weekly roundup that name. Sunday was okay, even though it limited us to posting every Sunday, however “Link Charity” part was pathetic. It sounded like we were doing everyone that was featured a favor, however that was never the case. Instead we simply wanted to feature some great reads published from a given week that pertained to money.

So, there you have it on our weekend roundup name change, and we hope you will continue to join us for this weekly feature – like we enjoy featuring you.

We hope you enjoy this week’s Money Weekend Recap with 10 great reads you might have missed, and see us again right here next weekend where we’ll do it all over again.
