Well it was a fairly busy week around here, and to add on top of things today will be the seventh straight day that I’ve been working. I ended up landing a contract for a job this weekend with my other side business, therefore I’ve been going strong for the last two days. Friday night we wrapped it up at 1am, only to return back to the job site for 8am on Saturday. Yesterday was a 9 hour day, and today I’m hoping that we can wrap things up by the early evening.
So, that’s why I’m apologizing above for my mini MIA, lack of writing and not enough commenting/promotion. However, tradition is tradition, and I wasn’t going to let a Sunday Link Charity pass me by. And to give you an idea of my dedication, I’m writing this post at the work site as I sip on my morning coffee, and just before we get into the work again.
Here are some great reads from this past week.
Married w/Debt – Here’s a great example of someone’s debt payoff, and how they’re working hard at eliminating debt. Great progress!!
Work Save Live – Here’s an article that focuses on housing costs, and while most of us allocate 20-30% of our income towards housing, here’s a couple who only spend 7% of their income towards housing costs by going against the norm.
Add Vodka – Did you have financial help through college or did you do it on your own? If you have kids (or want kids), what are you planning on doing? Daisy writes a great post on why it’s not necessary to pay for your kids college education.
You Have More Than You Think – Starting a business takes time. Building a successful investment portfolio is never ending. One thing most of us forget is that we have a lot more than we realize. Shawanda talks about using what we already have, and earn extra cash.
From Shopping To Saving – Rich people like fake jewelry too, and this includes the housewives of OC.
Hope everyone has a great week ahead!
