Sunday Link Charity – Finished With Xmas Shopping Edition

less, shopping, more sex, sex, shop, money, sexOnly a week remaining until Xmas and I’m done my shopping. Pretty proud of my self actually and for good reasons – I did not procrastinate and leave things last minute and I stayed within my budget.Double whammy for me.

Like I said last week, I’ve been sparse in the past with link love, but that’s old news. We’re already onto the second week of Sunday link charity. I re-launched Sunday link charity with great success last week and here is the link to last week’s Sunday link charity in case you missed it.

And without further ado, here are this week’s whacky, funny and educating reads from around the blogosphere:

Budgeting in the Fun Stuff – Crystal shares first update on the Crystal Light Challenge. Make sure you check out her pretty neat system.

Money Rabbit -  I enjoyed her concept on Make It or Bake it (great idea, BTW). Fortunately she was able to have a Mall-Free Christmas, Year 2 by not setting foot into the mall. Instead all gifts are creatively made by her.

Financial Samurai – Sam asks a pretty good question – Is Becoming a Millionaire The Rule Rather Than The Exception? and he has a good compelling on how anyone (almost anyone) with some hard work can reach a net worth of $1 million.

Give Me Back My Five Bucks – The ever wonderful, yet very hard working Krystal writes a pretty neat post called: When renting is better than home ownership . Like Krystal said, “Home-ownership is not for everyone“, however I think everyone should be a homeowner once in their life. I know I’ve become a totally different person with my finances (for the better, duh!), ever since I became a homeowner.

So You Think You Can Save – I just purchased a new laptop and with total coincidence, I used all 6 Ways To Save Money On A New Computer. My favorite is #2 and it saved me a nice chunk of money.

Kathy Kristof – CBS Money WatchHow to make a 50% profit on a bad gift is a pretty neat post, so if you got old unused gifts and want to put them towards something you actually want, well here is your chance buttercup.
