Two weeks till Christmas and since its the season to give, I’ve decided to give some link love back to PF community. It’s been forever since I did my last Sunday link charity. I’ve just been swamped with work, life, playing soccer on different teams and everything else in between. I know it’s not an excuse, but I promise I will work harder at improving this downside of mine.
Aside from being spares with link love, there are two weeks left until Christmas. It may not be a biggie for some, but I cant wait. Firstly, I am off from work for a week (last week in December) and this whole hectic holiday schedule will end. I’m tired of shopping for gifts and I’m not even half done. However, on a more brighter note, I am in tune thus far with my gift budget. I set a budget at $200 for gifts and I’m damn determined to stick to it. Wish me luck?
This week’s interesting reads and Sunday link charity:
Money Beagle – Career versus money and the best job I never took. I always said, it’s not about the money, but rather about enjoying something you do and knowing you’ll do a solid job doing it.
The Funny Money Blog - Gives us the Future of Funancials IV: The business of blogging , which is an “under the hood” to how the blog operates and shares the numbers. And you all know, how much I love numbers.
Digging Out & Up – Cassie shares a pretty funny post called Five Minutes With (Digging Out & Up) and she reveals some mostly “useless” (as she calls it) info about about her. I thought it was funny, in a good way of course.
SheBloggs – Jen writes a pretty darn good post on Personal Finance Blogger or the Expert. She shares her take on PF bloggers vs experts and why she relates more to PF bloggers.
YoungandThrifty – A full review on the new book by Andrew Hallman – Millionaire Teacher, plus she’s giving a copy away. Make sure you enter.
Broke TO – Melissa asks a very good question – Should you take out a line of credit as a safety net? and at first one would say, it’s not a good idea. However, she lists great reasons to get one and I agree!
Blonde on a Budget – What a difference six months makes is the name of the post and Blondie gives us her six month update on her finances and it’s also been six months since she came back to PF blogging community. A double whammy post!
MoneyUnder30 – Guest author David Bakke shares 5 reasons to keep your clunker running. Maybe it’s better hold off on the purchase of that new car.
Dollar Versity – Asking for help is one of the most difficult things and it’s even harder to ask for help involving finances, so when do you ask for help with finances? Good question! Maybe before you’re too deep in?
Single To The Penny – This post is not PF related, rather Iva shares another post about the mushy email guy, which is pretty hilarious (in a good way of course).
Prairie EcoThrifter – Miss T writes a wonderful post on how to save money with coupons and discount codes. I tried the coupons thing and I just found that it didn’t work for me. Maybe because I think it’s a hassle?

Always accepting charity. Thanks
You’ve put together a great list of links… thank you so much for including me!!
I completely agree about Christmas shopping. I’m also tired of it and it’s much harder when you’re trying to stick to a budget. Good luck with sticking to your $200 budget… can’t wait to hear how it turns out :)
Thanks for the ‘link charity’, Eddie!
Glad you found my dating ‘disaster’ entertaining!
